{"id":1020,"date":"2017-10-02T18:41:40","date_gmt":"2017-10-03T01:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gothein.de\/reiseblog\/?p=1020"},"modified":"2017-10-03T18:55:39","modified_gmt":"2017-10-04T01:55:39","slug":"von-standish-hickey-nach-mackerricher-beach-state-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gothein.de\/reiseblog\/2017\/10\/02\/von-standish-hickey-nach-mackerricher-beach-state-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Von Standish-Hickey nach MacKerricher Beach State Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Der Tag heute (71 km, 1090 H\u00f6henmeter) war gepr\u00e4gt von   Kletterpartien und entsprechend rasanten, kurvigen und steilen Abfahrten, schon fast alpin. Eine Meile und etwas mehr nach dem Campground kam die kleine Ortschaft Leggett in der ich als erstes beobachtet habe, wie die Dame vom US Postal Service die Flagge auf Halbmast gesetzt hat. Ich habe das dann gleich von Las Vegas gelesen und das ist schon ersch\u00fctternd, was f\u00fcr Unheil diese Idioten stiften.<\/p>\n<p>Um 9:20 bin ich losgekommen und es war nat\u00fcrlich noch eisig kalt.  Direkt nach Leggett beginnt dann aber der Berg, der von knapp 1000 Fu\u00df auf knapp 2000 Fu\u00df ansteigt und da wurde es dann langsam warm.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Leggett verl\u00e4sst man \u00fcbrigens die 101.  Jetzt geht es auf Highway 1 weiter. Die Stra\u00dfe ist schmaler und es ist deutlich weniger Verkehr.<\/p>\n<p>Es kam dann noch ein zweiter Berg, bis ich wieder den Pazifik erreicht habe. Aber auch an der K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe geht es mit der Kletterei weiter, immer nur wenige H\u00f6henmeter hoch und dann wieder runter aber immer steil.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-wpid=\"42\" src=\"https:\/\/gothein.de\/reiseblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/20171002_181617-1280x12801975832589.jpg\" class=\"failed size-full\"><\/p>\n<p>So erreiche ich Westport  (Mendocino County) wo ich im einzigen Grocery erstmal ausgiebig Pause mit Kaffee umd Sandwich mache. Von dort,  entlang der K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe mit unendlich vielen Ausblicken, sind es dann noch ca. 14 Meilen bis zum Campground.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-wpid=\"43\" src=\"https:\/\/gothein.de\/reiseblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/20171002_181710-1280x12801029971437.jpg\" class=\"failed size-full\"><\/p>\n<p>Die Adventure Association ist auch wiedet da, aber ich will heute mal im Restaurant essen und fahre die 5km nach Fort Bragg um in der lokalen Brauerei die Biere auszuprobieren und Fish, Shrimps &amp;
